At Netaji Subhas University, we are committed to ensuring a safe, reliable, and efficient transport service for our students. To maintain smooth operations and ensure the safety of all passengers, the following Transport Code of Conduct must be strictly followed:
Punctuality
Students must arrive at their designated boarding point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
Buses will not wait for late arrivals under any circumstances.
Student ID Card
Students are required to carry their University ID card at all times while using university transport.
The ID card must be shown to the driver or transport staff when requested.
Behaviour and Discipline
Students must exhibit respectful and disciplined behaviour at all times inside the bus.
The following are strictly prohibited:
Shouting or fighting
Playing loud music
Creating disturbances
Using offensive or abusive language toward the driver, staff, or fellow students
Note: Violations will result in disciplinary action.
Safety Guidelines
Remain seated while the bus is moving.
Do not:
Stand at the door
Lean out of windows
Place any body part outside the bus
Note: Emergency exits must not be tampered with, except in a real emergency
Cleanliness and Conduct
Maintain cleanliness inside the bus.
Littering or damaging bus property is strictly prohibited.
Any intentional damage must be compensated by the responsible student.
Prohibited Items
Strictly banned on the bus:
Smoking, alcohol, drugs, and chewing tobacco
Unauthorized items, sharp objects, or flammable materials
Reporting and Complaints
Any issues or concerns regarding transport services should be reported to the Transport Coordinator or the University Administration Office.
Consequences of Misconduct
Violating the Transport Code of Conduct may result in:
Warning or suspension
Permanent cancellation of transport privileges
Other disciplinary actions as deemed necessary by the university
