We are truly proud that today, the NETAJI SUBHAS INSTITUTE Of Business Management(NSIBM) that were started in 2005, Now recognised as a University. It is a privilege we are determined to build on, to ensure that our primary goal, of meeting the educational needs of students in the region are fulfilled to the best of our abilities.
We have discovered that for our students, over and beyond facilities and the teaching methodologies is an environment that makes them comfortable during the time they spend here. To that extent, special efforts have been made to provide such an enabling environment. Be it a value system that reflects the best of the values from the region, to a diet that is both familiar and healthy to a vast majority of them.

We provide great significance to interactive learning and two- communication processes, thereby making the learning environment sincere and responsive. With teachers who are acknowledged experts in their field, it is an environment that combines the best of pedagogy with an encouragement to ask, be curious.

Today, when the work environment demands a lot more beyond just knowledge and marks, a lot of emphasis is laid on the overall personality development of the students so as to foster in them the necessary drive and confidence to meet the demands and challenges of the modern world.

Prof. (Dr.) Acharya Rishi Ranjan, The Pro Vice-Chancellor of Netaji Subhas University, Jamshedpur joined this University on 13.11.2020. He is Professor of Law; acquired B.A. LL.B. degree in 2003 securing 1st rank from TNB LAW COLLEGE (A Constituent Unit of Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, Bihar). He has also been awarded Principal’s Merit certificate.

He acquired Post Graduate Degree in Law (LL.M.) in the Year of 2006 with Specialization in Criminal Law securing 1st rank from Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, Bihar (State University). He has been awarded merit certificate from University. During Academic period, he has actively participated in various extra-curricular activities like-Moot Court, Judgement-Writing and other activities. He was selected as a Specialist officer (Law) in ALLAHABAD BANK in the year 2007. He got qualified in various judicial service examinations in Preliminary level examinations.

Getting motivational encouragement from the formerly member of Legal Fraternity and renounced academician namely Prof. (Dr.) Kiran Seksena (Former Dean, Law, Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur & Director, Law Subharti University, Meerut, U.P.), Prof. (Dr.) Acharya Rishi Ranjan has preferred an academic career further.

He started teaching Law in UG and PG classes on Honorarium basis in parent Institution since the year 2006. He joined as an Assistant Professor in Law at BMT Law College (Autonomous) Purnea, Bihar and also served as Head of Department (LL.M.) till 2016. He continued his academic journey in legal teaching at Pt. Moti Lal Nehru PG Law College, Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, Galgotia University as Associate Professor and thereafter as a Professor and Principal (Law) in Oriental University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, he has a large no. of publications on his name in a number of Journals/ conferences/symposiums/seminars/FDP/ Refresher course in law; he has supervised many Ph. D. students in law and successfully guided around 190 students of LL.M. in Dissertation on different legal contemporary issues. He has written books on law and also has the experience of UGC minor Research Project as a Co-Supervisor on legal issues.

Apart from teaching and research at UG, PG and Ph. D. levels, he has the experience of working successfully as distinguished members of many statutory committees earlier namely as such – Academic Council, Board of Management and Board of Studies. He has an experience of framing curriculum for BA LL.B. (H), BBA LLB (H), LLM and Ph.D. courses and many PG diploma courses in law. He is associated with many Universities being a question setter, examiner, and Moderator for different level of Examinations of law Papers specifically. He has
also delivered his lectures as Resource Person, Guest lectures in different legal contemporary issues at National and International University namely HULE HOLE university ,Ethiopia, South AFRICA as a member of legal Fraternity.

He has received INTERNATIONAL PRIDE OF EDUCATIONIST AWARD 2022-2023 in the year 2023 for his contribution in legal education.
He has also attended and participated in around thirty five National and International seminars. He has also attended ten FDP Programmes and successfully attended Refresher Courses in law organized by University of Lucknow, U.P sponsored by University Grant Commission, New Delhi.
