With over 30 years of teaching experience and 5 years of research experience, I have dedicated my career to shaping young minds in the field of Economics. My academic journey began in Kolkata, where I served as a Professor at Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark, followed by my tenure at South City College, Kolkata, where I thoroughly enjoyed imparting knowledge to students.
Due to personal commitments, I relocated to Jamshedpur, where I continued my teaching journey at ICFAI, Eklavya College, and renowned schools. My teaching philosophy is rooted in clarity, patience, and psychological understanding of students, ensuring that Economics is not just learned but applied in real-world scenarios.
Currently, as the Head of the Economics Department at NSU, I am committed to revamping the syllabus to make it dynamic and industry-relevant. My research interests include Psychological Economics, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Environmental Economics. I believe that teaching is a two-way process, where active communication between the teacher and students fosters an engaging and enriching learning environment. My continuous efforts are directed towards making the Economics Department the best at NSU, ensuring that students not only grasp concepts but also excel in their careers.
