With an MA in Journalism & Mass Communication and UGC-NET qualification, I am deeply committed to advancing research and education in Rural Journalism, Ethnographic Communication, and Public Relations. My 1.5 years of teaching experience is complemented by hands-on industry exposure, enabling me to bring a practical and interdisciplinary approach to the classroom.

Academic and Professional Achievements:

  • UGC-NET Award in Journalism and Mass Communication (2022).
  • Extensive Workshop Participation – Attended 5+ national workshops and 10+ state-level workshops covering social issues, medical care, community services, and social justice.
  • Journalistic Experience – Worked as a City Reporter at Crow Hub, Jamshedpur’s first mobile application news platform.
  • Press & Reporting Expertise – Three years of experience in press kit design and news beat reporting; reporting experience with the Jharkhand-based news portal app ‘LOK ALOK’.
  • Internship & FieldworkTwo-month internship at TSRDS (Tata Steel Rural Development Society) and engagement with Tribal Culture Centre & Initiative of Change (International NGO).
  • Recognition & Awards:
    • 1st Prize in Young Editor (Newspaper-making competition by Dainik Jagran, Jamshedpur Edition).
