The Drug Awareness Club (DAC) is a club to control and address the hazard of substance abuse among every student of the college to be focused towards a particular goal and ingenious in protecting the wellbeing against consuming weeds, drugs, alcohol and any sort of substance abuse as notified Under NDPS Act 1985 and other Laws. The club supports the energetic meditations by Government, NGOs, and De-Addiction Centres etc. for a drug free society with an objective- Say ‘NO’ to Drugs, and ‘YES’ to Life.

Considering the issue in the present scenario, and in compliance with the Zonal Director NCB, Ranchi with Letter No–F.No-1/NCB/Ranchi/P&C/Signage/2023/100 dated16/01/2024,Netaji Subhas University, Jamshedpur (Netaji Subhas Institute of Pharmacy, Jamshedpur has constituted the Club, with intends to facilitate the awareness activities of Anti- Drug from the academic session 2024-25 onwards.

• Raise Awareness – EEducate students on the risks and consequences of drug abuse.
• Promote Healthy Lifestyles – Encourage physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
• Conduct Workshops & Seminars – Organize expert talks, interactive sessions, and rehabilitation awareness programs.
• Engage in Community Outreach – Partner with NGOs, healthcare professionals, and law enforcement for awareness drives.
• Advocate for a Drug-Free Environment – Promote policies and initiatives that discourage substance abuse.
• Organize Campaigns & Events – Conduct rallies, poster-making competitions, and awareness drives.
• Support Rehabilitation & Recovery – Provide guidance on recovery resources and rehabilitation support.
