The Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) program at Netaji Subhas University is a 2-year diploma course focused on training students in basic nursing care, maternal health, child healthcare, and midwifery services. This program is designed to prepare young professionals to serve effectively in rural and urban healthcare sectors, particularly in community health, maternity care, and first aid services.
With a balanced combination of classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training, ANM students are molded into frontline healthcare providers who support doctors, nurses, and communities in delivering primary care.
Why Choose NSU for ANM?
After completing ANM, students are eligible to work in primary health centers, maternity homes, NGOs, dispensaries, and rural healthcare services. ANM graduates play a critical role in maternal care, immunization programs, and basic nursing. They can also pursue GNM or B.Sc Nursing for higher studies.
