Scope:
This policy applies to all Faculty, Researchers, and Students, as well as Departments, Centers, and Research Labs. It also covers collaborators working under Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) or Funded Schemes
Governance Structure:
The governance framework includes the following bodies:
University Research Council (URC): Apex decision-making body chaired by the Vice Chancellor.
Research & Development Cell (RDC): Operational unit led by Dean Research.
Departmental Research Advisory Committees (DRAC): Department-level review and monitoring.
Research Ethics Committees (REC): Ensures research is conducted responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with established guidelines to protect participants and uphold Research & Scientific Integrity.
University Animal Ethics Committee: Ensures ethical compliance relating to research involving Human or Animal Studies.
