Farmer’s day is celebrated every year on 23rd December to mark the birth anniversary of Chaudhary Charan Singh, a former Prime Minister known for his dedication to improving farmers’ lives through policies and reforms. The department of agriculture celebrated this auspicious day by including various events and programmes and also one of the renowned farmer named Shri Amit Mahato. There were various informative talks on various renowned farmers of India included by head of department , Dr. Vijay Kant Pandey and the students of department of agriculture.
