Sneha Kumari, research scholar in Department of Commerce at Netaji Subhas University and Winner of Two Gold Medals in the International Strengthlifting and Incline Bench Press Championship held in Thailand, Receives ₹40,000 Career Support Grant from Netaji Subhas University

In a proud moment for Netaji Subhas University, the Hon’ble Chancellor awarded a cheque of ₹40,000 to Ms. Sneha Kumari in recognition of her exceptional performance at the International Strengthlifting and Incline Bench Press Championship 2025 held in Thailand. The grant aims to support her future career goals and celebrate her dedication and success.

Being the only participant from Jharkhand, she brought immense pride to the state, university, and the nation by winning two gold medals for India. Currently a research scholar in the Department of Commerce, her achievement reflects the university’s commitment to promoting excellence in both academics and sports.

“This accomplishment is not only a personal triumph but also a powerful source of inspiration for all NSU students,” said the Chancellor. “The university is proud of her and will continue to support her journey ahead.”
