Hindi Divas Celebration 2025
On 15th September 2025, Netaji Subhas University (NSU) celebrated Hindi Divas with great enthusiasm and cultural pride at the University Auditorium. The event highlighted the importance, richness, and future of the Hindi language, bringing together students, faculty members, and esteemed guests.
Program Highlights
✨ Inaugural Session – The celebration began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and Saraswati Vandana.
✨ Chief Guest’s Address – Distinguished speakers emphasized the literary, cultural, and academic significance of Hindi.
✨ Poetry Recitation & Speech Competition – Students expressed their love and respect for the Hindi language through inspiring poems and speeches.
✨ Drama & Cultural Performances – Creative performances showcased the diversity and vibrancy of Hindi.
✨ Prize Distribution – Winners of competitions were honored for their outstanding participation.
Importance of Hindi Divas
Hindi is not only the official language of India but also a symbol of unity and cultural identity. On 14th September 1949, the Constituent Assembly adopted Hindi as the official language, and since then, Hindi Divas is celebrated every year on 14th September.
NSU organized the celebration on 15th September 2025 to ensure greater student participation and to spread awareness about the relevance and growing role of Hindi in modern education, research, and communication.
