It is a great privilege and honour to be a part of the Netaji Subhas University. The Department of Geography was established in 2019 and initiated an Honours course. It successfully offers a wide range of papers at the B.A, and M.A . The Department emphasizing experiential learning in Geography. The teaching-learning process of this department is not only limited to four walls of the classroom and laboratory but also includes inter- and intra-state excursions. Every year we plan a field trip to nurture our beloved students’ inquisitive minds and give them first-hand experience on how field-based research is conducted.
